Stop stereotyping Americans. Just because you see a few fat people doesn't mean 100% of our population is filled with them.
This topic was NOT meant to be a stereotypical discussion so stop it.
"All Canadians play hockey and say "eh?""
No, they don't.
"All black people steal."
No, they don't.
"All Americans are fat."
No, they aren't.

Is it just me, or this will never end. There was an earthquake in haiti, which everyone was talking about for months, then There was an earthquake in japan, which everyone WILL talk about for months afterwards, and possibly a nuclear disaster. What will be next?

Thank you Marie for the sprite.

well, they will talk about japan on a larger scale, instead of months, it will be years. that is how news goes on and on and on, forever.

then get off yo american ass and help :l

Canadian*
Legitimately I really want to; but can't :(

TL;DR I'm going to attempt to uh, steer us away from North America when the Thread says "People of Japan".
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

:(

OH OH OH AND HEY HEY REMEBER WHEN THEY SAID THE HATI EARTHQUAKE SHORTENED THE DAYS OR SOMETHING?

http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/japanquake/earth20110314.html

I know they don't really affect our lives (The decrease in time, not the actual Earthquake) but still, just for the novelty of saying that the Earth is spinning 1.8 microseconds faster than it was when it was spinning faster than it was before Hati before etc etc.

I don't know why, but watching CNN it is getting REALLY ANNOYING seeing them continue to compare this to 3 Mile Island... what?   3 Mile Island was chickenshit compared to this, to Chernobyl, to etc, THIS already exceeded 3MI... at least they can TRY to make a proportionate analogy.

I love America.
That our country is a melting pot and a mixture of every culture.
I HATE the fact that in America you have the right to have your head stuck up your own ass.
I hate even more that arrogant, ignorant, stupid fucking white people say stupid shit without bothering to learn the facts about anything. No reason I should have to sit next to some asshole who thinks that God sent an earthquake as revenge for Pearl Harbor, because his racist as shit grandfather told him when he was 3 that the Japanese are evil. That kid grows up with that shit, all their lives they will believe it, simply because someone they know and trusted told them that this was true. Shit, don't tell me you guys haven't done that either. I just hope that you are smart enough to see the light, look back on it, and laugh about it.

But lets just continue to blame schoolteachers for not getting through to your children and docking their pay.
This is getting out of hand.
I don't know what to do. The stupid are repopulating at an alarming rate, then passing their stupidity on to their children, who have no real choice but to grow up with parents that don't give a shit about school, and then those kids slack off, they become stupid, and then they have children at 16.

HELP.

(And this is my thread, therefore I'm allowed to derail it. It was to make sure people were ok the night of the quake anyway, which they are. For now, anyway. These reactor problems are quite serious, indeed.)

99% of those people that say "God sent the quake to kill atheists" are trolls.

Seriously, people go all anal on Christians about it, yet atheists are no better, making up lies and making Christians look bad.

ok then, lets put this to bed right now.

I am an atheist
I probably know more about various religions than the people who believe in them.
I do not mind religion, I am not out to destroy it.
If people actually followed their religions, the world WOULD BE a better place
The problem comes from those who kill for religion.
I do not typically argue about religion. Its like politics. And the great pumpkin.

That being said, please don't lump me in with all those who DO the things I have mentioned.
I have said it before, I will say it again;
These people are not my voice.

is the creation of trolls

and heartless people

that is all.
