ALRIGHT, PEOPLE...
Peetah:
I think 1 tank could take on them all lolol.
There from the late 1700s...
somerandomguy09:
but from a theoretical point of view (Franklin...) i think the modern us forces would win considering that Muskets have extremely (and i mean EXTREMELY) bad accuracy at around that time (it was for a while till they improved them for more accuracy) and even if they managed to hit the us soliders (who arnt just running around naked they are wearing something underneath all that badass clothes.) it will definetly not be enough to kill him
WHILE
well ever played call of duty or battle field bad company 2?
US > Redcoats
they couldnt beat us 200 years ago what makes you think they could be us now?
Seb:
Let's see, a typical musket shot exerted around 1000 pounds of force on the area it hit.
A Ranger armor vest is able to stop 9x19mm and .44 Magnum rounds.
9x19mm rounds = at most 704 pounds of force
.44 magnum rounds = at least 1,524 pounds of force
Typical musket bullet (from a RIFLED musket, which gives the bullet more accuracy and velocity, which the redcoats lacked) = around 1,000 pounds of force
9x19mm < musket round
musket round < .44 magnum
.44 magnum < Ranger vest
And even then, the vest would take out most of the round's velocity, effectively making it nothing but a sting.
argument = invalid
