I have just joined the Random servers in Garry's Mod, and decided to post here immediately as he saw that he could post up his rig.

Current Rig: (Don't laugh at the RAM; it was because I was still on a budget for the motherboard and CPU.)

Motherboard: ASUS M4A79 Deluxe (The DDR2 version of the M4A79T Deluxe)
Processor: AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition @ 4.1GHz (1.57V, 20.5 Multiplier. I set it to that when I want to do video encoding overnight since it's not fully stable. Stupid RAM stability...)
Memory: 4GB Kingston ValueRAM 667MHz
Graphics Card: XFX Radeon 5850 @ 1025MHz Core Clock and 1100MHz Memory Clock (If you didn't know, the stock clock of a 5870 is 850MHz Core and 1200MHz Memory).
Hard Drive(s): 2x Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA2 drives with 7200.12 Firmware, and 1x 320GB Hitachi something...
Power Supply: 750w Sniper Series from some random company... uhh... 'Enlight'.

Other Info:

Operating System(s): Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Ubuntu Desktop 10.04 64-bit, and Mac OS X (V5) triple booted.
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS10X Flex with dual 3000RPM Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm fans.
Case: Azza Solano 1000R
Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X6
Mouse: Razer Lachesis Blue Edition
Headset: Logitech G35 7.1 Surround Sound Headphones

GUESS WHAT, I plan to be upgrading with the following few things:

Graphics Card: A SECOND XFX Radeon 5850 and two Zalman VF3000A GPU Coolers
Case: Coolermaster HAF-X
Hard Drive(s): Another one or two 500GB Seagate Barracudas to set up in RAID0 with my other one (I want loading times to be quicker)
Motherboard: ASUS Evo M4A87TD
Memory: 4GB (And afterwards, 8GB) of G.Skill F3 Flare 1800MHz DDR3 with 9-9-9-24 timings





So, I hope you guys like that rig. I might upgrade to the Phenom II X6 1090T, but I really don't have a need for a hexa-core processor yet, so it might not be for a while. They will probably have octo-core by the time I want to buy it.

I do plan on doing a water loop in the future, possibly external if I do not upgrade my case.  But here comes the good part, PICS!

That was totally worth the 4 hours taking my old case apart

I still havn't fitted the heatsink yet lol

I had trouble trying to get my hdd out of the old case, I'm so stupid I spent 2 hours trying to wedge it out then my dad comes and slides it up and out >_>

Oh well everything is working fine now except from one major stupidity of mine, The psu LOL

Cables don't reach

Dedicated +12v rail doesnt reach the slot :x

I have to have it out and demetedly hanging there

I've already ordered a Corsair 400w so no worries

GPU runs MW2 at max on 1080p reso no lag at all

AvP Runs MIGHTY FINEE on DX11 & Max :O

Stupidly CCC left my clocks from my 4350 so I had to go and re-install CCC
