Ragdoll making

Ok first off let me say that i am new here and that this is my first topic. Well ever since ive started garry's mod
i've wanted to make ragdolls,models,ect. but never got the knowledge of how to.
I just need some tips,programs,and anything to help me out. Thank you.

Hmm... To be most simple, use one of the default ragdolls that Gmod already has (Gman, Kliener, Eli, Alyx). Then you use VTF Edit, Gimp and GFC Scape to edit their skins (If you want best results, try Photoshop. Gimp is a free software).
