Prepare for a long read
So today, I was on a Minecraft RPG server. I'm a merchant, and happen to be the third richest on it. So after just doing whatever, four guests join the server at the same time, and quickly make a guild using the in-game system. They quickly build a small castle about 50 blocks away from the main city (PVP is disabled in it) and keep spamming chat for people to join their group.
Well, what they've been doing is luring out people from the city, to their castle, where they kill them and take their items. After a while, they just hide out in front of the city walls and wait for someone to walk out so they can kill them. I didn't mind too much. I never left the city, all my trade came from travelers roaming the world. People would be complaining to admins/moderators, but would always reply 'it's outside the city, so it's allowed'. Again, this never directly influenced me, until I had someone who was supposed to bring me three stacks of iron ingots to resupply me.
On his way from his cave to my shop, he was ambushed by them and robbed of everything. Over global chat, I simply asked the group 'you mind returning those?' at which the newbies would say 'your mom' jokes I barely understood. I had it. Being one of the most successful traders, I quickly crafted some of my diamond stock into a full diamond set.
Now let me explain something here, In the RP, you start out with 10 coins, and get 1 coin every 10 minutes. Most of the players had 30-100 coins. I had well over 10,000. A Diamond is worth about 200 coins.
With my full diamond armor, a diamond sword, and some food just in case, I ventured out into their castle.
All four of them approached me with iron swords, but they kept their distance. None of them were really well equipped, except for one who had an iron chest plate. I kept my distance, I didn't want them to think I was attacking them.
I asked them to return my iron, and that I would be on my way. Instead, the leader kept spamming me to join. When I kept saying no, another one yelled 'an intruder'. I simply replied 'Do you really think that's a good idea?' at which point, all four of them charged at me at the same time.
The first one swung at me, and MISSED, I landed a successful blow and he died immediately, torches and wool flying everywhere. Right after, two of them came charging at me. I had just enough time to dig down about 3 blocks and make a dugout. I quickly covered the top with a dirt block. One quickly dug it up, and fell right into the pit, in which it only took two hits to kill him. The other one was looking down the hole, at which point I was able to hit him. He must have had low health too, since he died on the first blow.
At this point, my inventory was filled with stacks of logs, cobble, torches, coal, and iron. It's funny, the leader was the last one left. He was standing roughly 15 blocks away from me, just standing there. He didn't charge, he didn't say anything, just stood and watched me. I had my iron, no need to kill him, it's not like he had anything good on him. I began to turn around, and he charge at me.
He must have landed a solid six blows. He was indeed, very fast. It didn't matter though. My Diamond sword and armor was nothing to his chestplate and iron sword. I got rid of him, and what do you know? 30 Gold bars pop out. Just like any other typical newfag, they all started cursing me out in text chat, saying I cheated, used hacks, ect. After a while of me just going "LOL" they all ragequit.
I can't exaggerate it even if I tried, but when I made it back to the city, everyone, well, cheered me on ._. Someone baked a bunch of cake, and we had a nice little party in my shop.
Today was a good day
