Post your story of how you found RND on Gmod

I'll start.

It was way back in March of '10. (inb4rantaboutmebeingnewfag) WAAAAAAY back when I used to be called StashHouse. I was a little shit and had cracked Steam. I was getting bored as fuck playing Single Player, and decided to try Multiplayer. Of course that meant I couldn't play most Gmod servers. I'm searching through the Server browser clicking a whole bunch of servers until one works. It was RND's Flood server. I join, and being a gigantic new fag, and started Prop Pushing for the lulz. Thank God the Respected guy there was nice enough to give me a warning. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be here. I start playing in Flood, and in around a week, I meet Don. Coolest Swiss fag ever. Of course I encountered some minges. Two weeks after my first day in RND, Don recommends me to apply for Respected. So I go on the forums, and write up a paragraph as my app. The nigga CommanderEddy was the first person to reply telling me "Welcome to City 17 RND" (That line I will never forget) Then Jimonions and Devie come along +1ing my app. It gets approved by Tomcat, but I really didn't get respected until 2 weeks after

I then start lurking around the forums, making shitty replies, and starting dumb threads. I thought to myself "Hey, this is pretty fun! I might stick around for a while!" So I did. And here I am today.

It was around august 2009, I played on rNd for the first time and my first server in garry's mod, I met a lot of peoples like devie, xexxar, sanders, smasters, carp, underdog and some other old zs fags.  I applied for respected around January - February and got approved by Magic and so on.

Anyway,
Beginning of January, Zomboss told me about this awesome gamemode he found for Garry's Mod in that you kill Zombies and can even play as Zombies.
Then he forced me to join RND Flood a while later. After playing that for a while, I decided to check out ZS ... hated it then, still hate it.
Somewhere in the end of January, I decided to join the forums and apply for respected; got approved by Tomcat and promoted by Magic.

Had fun with the angry Russian poduo, cant really remember his name but pry knows.

Made app on forums and was approved by Bananahat

Time flys and now 1 and a half years later there are a lot of new players.
I remember when Ipounce first joined zs to micspam and shout.
I remember when Devie first joined zs to help everyone get to the last room on deathmaps.
I remember when Sleepersoft and I would chat over steam about mapping and angry russian kids.

yours came up after i refined my search to US-West
saw a message, typed '!servers'

It was Autumn/Winter 2009. I got pingas'd Steam with gmod. Somehow I felt like playing online with gmod. So I've found this site with serverlists for pingas'd games. There I searched for gmod and found the rNd servers.

Lol those were the times! And I actually have a recording of one of podou's little freak outs on my youtube channel. Also, me and jim have been here almost the exactly same time. I joined around october 2009.

It all started with having a shitty computer and nothing to do with my life. With a Intel 4500HD, you really cant play most games. So, I remeber watching this one youtube videos about the best games that can run on crappy computers and such. 3rd one on the list was garrys mod. I decided to get it. After about a week of trying, I found something called UndeAd patch. First server I ever played was random flood. The times we had on it was awesome. Next thing I know I get someone named "Chris" (Mostly all of the old fags know him) And he invited me to this new server called Game maestro. Played that server for months and soonly got promoted to super admin and chris got demoted for promoting mdew without permission. Then as you all know, I got promoted to admin on these servers. Then demoted a day later. You can find tyat story in discussion at the last page.

I has done too much in my lifetime here to list it all but

It all startedack in the days when I used to h4x

We created h4x for TF2 constantly everyday, the forums we're pretty private(5 of us) but we knew what we was doing

Then one day a guy called "spartan95" decided to abuse his admin rank, and delete what was known as "the vault"

it contained coding that had months of work spent on -.-

anyways after that Mi-Dia pretty mcuh died out, and I was on steam and looking at the stats page when I saw GMod

(I was using crax at that time)

Spartan recommended me to DL it and h4x with him, So I did

While on the search we found rNd Wirebuild

But the thing is for one reason or another I never h4x'd it

Spartan ended up getting perm'd, and I just stayed

I loved how free the servers were and how sandbox it actually was

Then I made respected app after a month or 2 playing, Minic approved it and promoted me

Then I was liked everywhere always being helpful, Then I found out about the other rNd servers(I only knew there was one Lul)

After about 7 months I thought how inactive admins were / no admins in my timezone, So I applied and 4 months later got approved by coolz and promoted

And that day

I was in a group of hackers who recommended me to join them  in haxing rNd, but I didn't then I watched the h4xor get banned and just stayed there, then respected, then admin etc)

Got gmod one day (cracked) Startede looking through the server list and seen something about Zombie Surival and i thought "Hmm that seems like fun..." so i join and well i never left Lmao

I found Garry's Mod by watching Gman Squad. I really love their machinima.
I thought it would be cool if I can join them.
Then I searched for a multiplayer server but most of them aren't pingas except for the flood server.
Since then I am addicted to it. I have like 500k on my flood money.
Then I met sabbathfreak, my best flood pal. He once made the biggest boat ever.
And then Jim, Pryvisee,Christ,Boat sinker,Cobra,DiZ, DC and so much more. I played flood with most of these oldfags almost everyday.
They became inactive and I met Sniper2Boy and Underdog. They became my best friend but unfortunately Sniper2Boy hacked my steam account.
I still remember when the Russians were invading the RND servers. They came to the servers and minged.
After that Coolz promoted Magik and Tomcat.
Then I moved to ZS.
