I don't like the fact that the community has nothing at all to say at who gets VIP, but other than that, it looks kewl.

I think this system is just about rock solid.
But it would be pretty useful for VIP to be able to jail ppl.
Not that being power hungry but this WILL stop many problems that is about to HAPPEN.

Can the community give comments? Because if there is something negative that someone does ocassionally when admins aren't on, the admins might want to hear about it.
Also, when does the system start?

I like the idea of admins deciding the VIPs. It neigh garuntees that the VIP will be honest and helpful instead of mingey and respectard-y.
Edit: Oh, and if they bug admins a lot about it, they should get a -1 or something for that. That was to prevent Tomcat and other admins safe from waves of PMs.

I agree, admins can't be on all the time, so it would be nice for the community to at least be able to see whos applying for VIP, maybe like some kind of thread along the lines of "People applying for VIP this week:"

That way if some regular members see someone applying for VIP that they have seen do something wrong they can PM an admin.

Its fine just aslong as you dont have to pay money to get those special stats :O

(Not that I wouldn't donate money, just its kind-of a bummer if you have to pay to get those stats)

Well, since VIP and Admin app boards aren't hidden, I guess that everyone can see who's applying for what ... right? :O

I'd recommend that the regulars can start a kick but not a ban but only ever hr or something so if there's no vips on at the time.

This system looks and sounds foolproof but wont we have the same problem in the past where ppl complained that they couldnt kick a minge because of the lack of respecteds?
