Fraps isn't too bad

its a bit annoying how it makes a massive 5gb avi movie for maybe 30min.

Lol, thats more like a 8 minute movie

Fraps does that to retain quality of the video by not wasting cpu and ram compressing it

Fraps is the best I say.
Fraps is RAW.(Every dam pixel)x(every dam pixel). Color is identical.
Other recorders compresses it lightly so the files arent huge but that means quality is never 100%.
