@magic - I cant use glue due to all the electrical wires, and plus, if it was to de-attach, I might break it even more trying to fix it.
@tomcat - Its not as much the power cord being the issue, as the actual electrical pin inside being detached.
ItchyDani3l:
Lol WOW DEATHWARD.
How did you DO this. I mean... seriously.
The most I've ever fucked up a computer was accidentally breaking the contact points off of a USB drive... but this??
WOW.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)You could just take apart the laptop, find the contact points that the charger go to, and reconnect the contact points of the charger to those. It's FOOL PROOF!

It's a six year old laptop. It was gonna wear down eventually.
And I have another temorary fix, granted it doesn't light my house on fire at night.
I soldered the connectors together, but that made it get EXTREMELY HOT, to the point it made the electrical tape catch on fire.
Now the bottom of my laptop is a smoking char.
BUT AT LEAST IT WORKS.

Actually, I can't move it. If I do, the connectors will tear and I'm back to square one.
Right now, It's on my bed. Sitting here. Next to me. At 1000+F.
