error after patch?

I got an error saying "steamclient() GetISteam"

Help me plz i cant play gmod until now



Help me plz i wanna play Gmod already!   :(  :(  :(  :(  :(

Valve screwed up GMOD with an update. Just wait for Garry Newman to start a new update to fix the error.

Isteam is a pingas'd steam client. Could garry have put a secret message in the update that tells us to pingas steam games because he is going to work for infinity ward to make a new cod game "call of garry"? Or have i been playing a little to much MW2.
back to topic:I have pingas'd gmod and the game runs,maybe u could try
moving your garrysmod folder in steamapps/username to another location and seeing if it works.
