Know what links are legitmate

If a link ends in something that is not .com | .co.uk | .net etc it is likely an attempt to phish, so DO NOT enter your account details on these sites, in fact, DO NOT EVEN NAVIGATE TO THEM AT THE RISK OF LOSING YOUR ACCOUNT

One of the common ones used for phishing is .tk because it is a free domain, that doesn't mean it's the only one - stay alert for fake links and report them to www.phishtank.com

eg.

.:~RND`=- DJ Myppl8: Did you see that about you wrote on the forum? http://steamcomunityforums.tk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1 : DD
I'm shocked) XDD Write your thoughts.) -- THIS IS FAKE;

1. the url
http://steamcomunityforums.tk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1
look at it closely, compare it to the official forums: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1

they are nothing alike, so stay aware, also look out for http + https, if a link contains HTTPS it is a secure and legit link, meaning no hacking/viral activity resides there - it is safe

Please stay safe, if a bot sends you this then goes offline shortley after, it is most likely a phish, BUT, I have seen automated bots that when you reply tell you to do it or your account will be disabled - DONT - no matter how good the offer is, ITS FAKE!

Thanks and happy holidays!
