1.9 MC Server?

With 1.9 bringing a fuckton of changes, good and bad, I think that it adds enough to the game that won't make it extremely boring right away.

I think we should do a vanilla Minecraft  server again, but make diamonds and iron rare, so as to preserve the length that we all play.

We should also add a couple of different plugins to enhance gameplay, like EnchantLimiter, Citadel and PrisonPearl. Maybe even make mobs spawn less.

Not that this should go into motion when 1.9 comes out, which will probably be when people are temporarily off school.

The only way i'll ever play minecraft is with a lot of mods. the vanilla experience isn't enough. what are the new changes anyway? Haven't read a minecraft update since pistons were released

I'm getting a big, fat server box at the start of next month (hopefully).

I'd have enough spare resources to run a minecraft with a lot of breathing room. How would you guys feel if I set it up like me, deacon, and gamefreaks old minecraft server?

Main town area/safe zone as a trade and base hub, with everything beyond city limits being open game? We could also find a new faction plugin so we can have tribes again.

Well, 1.9's been released. I've had a single-player world on it and it adds alot of stuff and makes combat a bitch. Also makes knockback no longer useless.

if anyone wants I can use my realms trial so we can have a little go and see how much we like the idea.

If you do set up a Minecraft server, Snivy, then I will more than likely begin playing again. ESPECIALLY if it's similar to that of Deacon's old server.

I've been playing single player back on ver 1.6 due to temp wifi outage at campus, and sort of rekindled my joy of the game. I would much prefer to play that than waste my free time watching Youtube videos out of boredom ._.

http://mods.curse.com/bukkit-plugins/minecraft/juke-alert - Place a jukebox, reinforce it, and you now have a snitch that records all entries, logouts, block place and breaks within an 11 block radius!
