:o You should convince them to do linux (ubuntu, etc. like steam) support.
If they're doing osx usually 80% is already done.

Looks fun, I assume a lot of that is your environment design?

linux will be a bit of a hassle from what I gather from our programmers. I don't know too much on that front but our lead programmer is very knowledgable, much more than anyone I have met.

A lot of content was ported over from the pre-existing lobby 2 and then updated with lighting and PBR materials.
I did a good bunch of the material conversion and lighting for those as well as the entire island demo with the go karts.

We are planning on updating as much content as possible rather than direct ports. These were just done for the kickstarter and the island was actually something I was working on in my spare time figuring out pipelines, folder structure unique to unreal, blueprints, custom shaders, etc.
You can expect a far higher level of polish for the actual early access and content than the prototypes shown.

Unfortunately a lot of people take the kickstarter for actual finished content rather than a project in progress so I feel the need to re-iterate on that as much as possible.

While it does appear to some that most of us are just college students doing this in our spare time, and is also very true, I have to say  this team's lives pretty much revolve around Tower. A few of us are doing full time which is partly what the funding of our kickstarters is for. I've worked with this team rigorously for the past few months prior lobby 2 release and they are by far the most efficient and well rounded source mod team out there.
