This vid pretty much plays tones, then you replay the vid, and it sounds like it continues.  I thought it was a joke at first, and was genuinely surprised when I replayed it.  I even smiled.

It's called the Shepard scale. It's basically two different sounds playing in a different octave that cycle through a limited amount of notes.
