ITT: How would you deal with the world's biggest problems today?

Legitimately, self-destruct. With all the pandering, corruption, people with higher powers in the world, it's impossible to carry out anything useful in society without being shutdown. Unless the whole world went into Anarchy for a century or so, I think self-destruction, an apocalypse, or fallout IRL could be the only way to solve this.

Some gigantic world wide devastating occurance, forcing humanity to unite in order to solve the problem. Then more problems would occur as humanity splinters again.
