This is actually really old news. Like a month or so.
And it was fake because the website wasn't owned by Valve or something.
There have been websites that have done this count down thing before. Is fake yo.

However L4D3 has been confirmed(well leaked actually) from a valve tour. It will be using the source 2 engine.
