Who here plays DOTA 2?

A few real-life friends got me to try it a week ago and now I'm pretty much addicted to it.
I've been mostly playing in parties with real-life friends and my step-brother but there's times when they're not playing that it would never hurt to be able to play with some more cool people too, instead of having to Solo Q, which is the worst thing of life.

I haven't played DotA 2, but I used to play DotA in RoC. I would snipe kills with Zeus' ultimate :p, or stack mines in front of the enemy's secret shop with the Goblin dude.

You clearly wrote that thinking that Sabb was bashing League, when in reality he was saying that supporting Dota and then hating League is what is autism, since they are very similar games. If you're going to make a smart ass joke about something someone said, at least make it make sense.

That was kind of the point, it's fine when someone else makes a similar comment, but when it's me people seem hostile over the most idiotic reasons.
Jokes aren't supposed to make sense, ever heard of why the chicken crossed the road? To get to the other side, of course.
The idea of that joke doesn't make sense, but it is a joke, right?

I played DOTA for a few minutes and it seemed very similar to League, forgot about it and haven't played it in a while. One day I'll get back to it.

It's not a pay to win game you can pay for skins if you want them lol.
I also don't see how graphics are mentionable especially in a MOBA. Sure it's nice to have better graphics but I don't see how it's significant, and League's absolutely isn't bad. The gameplay is also way too similar in comparison though yes it has it's minor difference it's also undeniably got it's much greater similarities with the the general concept. The only thing that varies are fairly minor things that do change the strategy of the game and make it more difficult I would say, but more or less it's the same.
I don't really care though tbh. I played DOTA 2 when it first came out and enjoyed it a decent amount but I simply play League because that's what my friends play. I just wanted to point out that you should reconsider laughing at people who play League when you're playing Valve's hipster version League of Legends.

You've also directly pointed out to me that you've never played League so comparing the item and leveling system is obviously unfair, though I have played a decent amount of both games and can say they're extremely similar and identical concepts, though the specifics such as the individual items vary.
