There's just better alternatives than rNd. I use word 'better' very lightly. rNd is... old school. That's not enough for people who have played these games for years now. We play every single map and every single gamemode all over.
People want a ranking system, people want point shops... That's what keeps them addicted. As long as they know they have another reason to join back. Not because the gamemode is fun or the community is large and helpful but because it has POINTS. YAY
There's nothing wrong rNd being old school. Just doesn't fit today's standards. No, I don't like them either.
Also, isn't GMOD now harder to "pingas"? All the updates would most certainly break everything.
Personally, I cannot be asked to bother anymore. RND was a good run while it lasted. I liked the large community (at least compared to this) and gamemodes it had back then. It was also very "pingas" friendly. Being the first community I was ever in. I learned a lot, thank you. I might still play here and there. No doubt about that. However, the time has come my friends...
