Same.  I hate having to start all over...  I know it's in beta, and that's what players are supposed to be doing, but I didn't buy it when I saw people playing it, just so I could too.  I bought it a while ago (July, i think) with the Humble Bundle site.  I'm probably going to wait until Stage II before I do anything else.

I think it would be a lot more fun to grind again with multiplayer. Is there going to be a server any time soon? Also I think I've read somewhere that this MAY be the last character wipe.

Ya so I have been experimenting with hosting starbound for rNd, potentially 24/7 server.

I think it's feasible however at this time there are too many serverside bugs with lots of players that make it almost impossible to host without babysitting it.

When they fix some of the more serious issues I plan to open a server for everyone to derp on

Gods... I still remember the jump quests in Maplestory... hideous...

Hmm, it requires a lot of resources so I need to run it on a better box I can't run 24/7 right now.
