You're forgetting that on the songs you can barely scratch a million score, most of these guys would only get about 100k.

It's just a matter of getting used to tapping on-beat with your fingers. If you're not already using Z/X, start getting used to using your keyboard to tap. It's a lot easier than using your mouse.
