OH GOD TEETH BRACES

So this summer, i am going to get some braces to be fitted onto my teeth as one of my teeth seems to want to slowly go backwards. Now i want your guys opnion and whether you ever had braces fitted.

Does it get annoying?
Does it actually work?
Etc.

Braces are not the best to get on the first time, but it soon starts to not even be a problem.  The only bad part with mine... I cannot chew gum   :'(

I've had braces for a while now. The first to second week is gonna hurt really bad and it may take a month to get used to them in your mouth but you'll get used to them.

It does get annoying when you have to clean your teeth such as flossing as you have to wire it around the braces.

They do work, as long as you follow your orthodontist's instructions.

As above stated, you can't eat or chew some things such as gum, nuts, whole apples, etc.

Everything blah said. Also when you get your braces tightened it will generally hurt for anywhere from 1-3 days depending on your sensitivity. The most annoying part was having to wire the floss around your wire.

Well MY experience with them was... I got braces because my 12 year old molar had grown under the tooth next to it, and was going to get locked in there by a wisdom tooth. So I had braces to pull my teeth into place and make room for that elusive molar. After 3 years of hiding under a tooth though, that timid little molar had fused to my jaw (who knew that could happen) Soo, now I have a tooth that is halfway out of my gums. The 2 years of braces were a pain. The first few months the insides of my mouth was like... Baghdad. After awhile it gets better. But nothing is better than getting them off. My advice is to EAT A SHIT TON before getting them on, because the first week your teeth will hurt so bad. Good luck  :cake:
