I would get it and try to avoid all the shit that the stupid fans create about Gabe. If there was to be a next game anyway it would basically be a "fuck you" note to the fans.

I'd buy Steam gift cards immediately and buy it, then I'd scream out to the world that Half Life 3 is going to be released and then confess to a girl I would probably like (If I get rejected it doesn't matter. My happiness of Half Life 3 is greater than my disappointment.)

Also I think they announced some where that it'll be HL3 and not ep 3
