Well here in Peru my school previewed coding in 4 months of the last year.

We did silly things tough.

I was trying to look for this video yesterday. Apparently some dude posted his phone number on this video hoping Mark Zuckerburg would call him.

They teach coding at my school, technically at our Technical Center.

Don't limit yourself to stuff your school claims it can teach you.

Even if it offers the course it maybe severely limited so if you want to do something the best way is to go all the way with it.

Learn online, the amount of resources that are there now are incredible - you really have no excuse for not learning if you want to learn it.

Every time you download Garry's Mod illegally, Garry makes a bug.

When people ask me "Plz" because its shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because its shorter than "Yes".

The problem is that most programming teachers don't know jack about coding.

I've learned more from the internet and playing video games than my school has ever taught me. My school teaches HTML, Java and they're considering LUA.

No, considered it, my 5 group of "friends" are all in that class though and always complain about how terrible the teacher is, since I ride with them to the Tech Center.

My school used to offer a coding class as an EFE but then they had to cut it because of budgeting, but the bright side is they introduced independent art for an EFA this year.
Thanks Marie

I think the video is kinda wrong when they are say "You don't need to be smart to code, just dedicated." I mean, couldn't this phrase be said for pretty much everything in life?

You don't need to be smart to cure cancer, just be dedicated. See what I mean? You need to be smart AND dedicated.  I don't know.. guess that's just my opinion.

Anyways, took programming was okay/average/meh at it. Started missing classes and got behind and failed. Kinda sucks that I hated it since it was kinda my goal, now I want to be a marketer. And loving that class, doing great in it too.
