If someone can give me some info about whether or not it's possible to run on linux, I'll gladly host a DayZ server on a private hive for a couple weeks.

Is not possibru right now because the support for extensions isn't even there right now on the linux server.

I'm going to start playing DayZ again once break starts, probably Saturday. I'll join whoever is playing at that time or whatever, I don't care much. I'm only going to play on Chernarus though, miss that map that's why.

But I would
Highly encourage trying out Taviana it has a bit of everything, it has the islandy feel of Lingor, it has snow mountains and areas, it has volcanoes and we are loaded with weapons and have a motorcycle it also has a bigass bridge.. The only two custom maps I like are Lingor And Taviana the server we have been playing on has no hackers because of its amazing anti-hack that even shows a little message when someone was banned for hacking. So far in the two weeks we've been playing no one has found our camp...
Also one of the other things I really like is that this map is one of the big custom maps like its either the second or third largest custom map
