What's your plan after highschool

Oh yah good luck with all of that everybody ! also try to get involved in your community to I remember some juniors and senor's from colleges in U.W. And other places were talking about never prcossinate etc. etc. the only thing I really paid attention to was this one person who never really did high school just took online classes and he was so involved in his community and he had many connections that now he is getting paid at what a person would have with a masters degree and he does not even have one so basically my point here is having connections can help you with lot's of things in life.

Go to my highschools sixth form collage and study History, Psycology, Philosphy & Ethics and English Literature. Hopefully with some Good GCSE's and A-levels in hand, i'll apply for an University nearby and study Law. Then if succesful, i'll try to become a Lawyer or something to do with the Courts, since i adore and enjoy arguing with people and poking out flaws in their statements or twist their meanings.

Basically, some sort of Engineer is what I'd be most happy with. Engineering in the way of Design sounds nice.

I'm content with anything as long as I can pay said bills and the environment/job is at least enjoyable/safe or at least sound/good.

I'm not joking. I wouldn't mind driving the dearly departed to a funeral home.

But for most of those I'd have to go back and get the 'proper credits' in order to apply for said jobs, if I'm looking to take the uni/college courses and eventually get hired.

I have a solid 92 in my Tech classes, not too bad in math/physics Either. But I mean, I try so many things and get so invested in them I basically have a 5/10 on the scale of "How much do you know about x or y".

I'm just not an expert/'dis is wat I was bornd to do guise stend bak' in any of those fields as opposed to how I feel when I'm in Engineering, and Programming to a degree.

I just haven't taken ALL of the courses to be all those things, officially, as in "HEY I MAJORED IN X AND AM NOW Y BECAUSE ALL MY COURSES LED TO Z".

I might not even really know what's out there to do. I haven't looked outside my own country, haven't been able to really find out the other tiers that are popping up because of the digitization of media and just the times moving ahead. The way we do things is changing. My future job could be "Recyclo-tron 5000 Operator", and I could spend all day reducing plastic compounds molecule by molecule to make gasoline.

I could end up being a bio-engineer by chance, designing prosthetic limbs, or at least help analyze the data from it and working towards improving said prosthetic addons.

I could be delivering packages.

There was no mainstream concept of programming an application for a phone in 2004. In 2007 it was pretty rare save for the developers. Now, a 5 year old can put out his very own fart soundboard and get paid for it if 5 thousand other 5 year olds download it.

New jobs are popping up all over the place, and I'm not looking to be rich. I'm perfectly okay with just being able to pay bills and get on with life, as long as the job is good and the environment is good.

Could even be a plumber, actually. I hear those are in demand where I live.

But this is too tl;dr already.

I like taking things apart. I like figuring out how they work, I like making them work better.

Maybe I want to create something than follow a strict guidline. Maybe I have a neat idea that others can build upon, maybe even make something of their own.

I like thinking outside the box.

So, I'm thinking I'm some sort of Engineer later once I nail down the specifics in the coming year, or a programmer... or a tiny indie vidjagem artist.

Or who knows, I could just be a writer. I'm really imaginative and philosophical, or so I've been told. I find it incredibly easy to write 3 pages about the word 'fish'.
I could just go improve my knowledge of written arts/sentence structure, cultures, references, devices... get the 'keys'/courses, remember to make things make sense and follow a proper logical chain and maybe plop out a book or two.

Or write for someone else, hell, I don't care.

Donate to charity etc if I suddenly start selling books like wares, because $500,000 does a lot more than $52.

And still live in a small house because I'm okay with that. Though that house may be in the middle of nowhere.



Or I could sit all day in my room testing videogames for some people down in France.

Basically my main plan is to wait up until I'm a senior and research how many video game designers are needed/are unemployed, if the numbers are favorable for someone who's going to start out get a degree in that shit and pray for Valve, Rockstar, or even Riot to employ me.

My backup plan is to get a degree in graphic arts and try to nail a job as a graphic designer for a company or freelance and take up a shit ton of 90$ commissions on FA/DA.


My last plan if everything else fails is to apply for welfare from all the disabilities I have, I would've been accepted previously when my mom applied me for it but my dad didn't want me to get on anything like that due to it being a huge "Incapable of working" stamp planted right on my forehead.



But hey, i'm still in middle school so I got a couple of years to think about this shit.

Come on, don't settle for welfare. You're smarter than that, and that is no kind of life. Trust me. My mom has worked at the local welfare office for 10+ years.
