So I was banned for 6:28 PM - Deacon: For impersonation, admin impersonation, troubled history, and poor reasoning.


I understand that I was banned for what I now know as global rule #7, but I don't know why for 2 months. I thought that when it comes to name, you can't have an unpronounceable name, or take someones name who is also playing, but I didn't know it mattered while they weren't there. I know I deserve the ban, but I still can't put my finger on why my ban is 2 months. It was my first offense, and it was harmless fun, and everyone in the server knew it was me. srry

Considering what your response to him was, your past history and general attitude, and WHO you impersonated, I don't think it really deserves to be shortened. I'm sure it would have easily been 1 month or even less if you had responded decently.
I'm hoping someone still has the chat log btw. I'll let Deacon explain more though.

I asked you several times if you were ok with this punishment. I explained my reasoning and asked again if you were ok. You told me yes, so I did.
You never admitted fault. You tried to push blame, tried to play it down.

Well he does admit to have broken the rules,done something bad,regretting it and not raging at anyone or anything,so i say why not?

Well I appreciate that its possible for Admins to make mistakes in the durations of bans that we hand out.
But in the end it isn't up to everyone.

I talked to Deacon about this.

The reason he banned you for 2 months wasn't because you impersonated someone.

You had a friend doing it with you and he wasn't banned at all.


All he wanted was for you to admit that you did something wrong and for you guys to apologize, other person did, you refused.
You had a very indifferent attitude, and "asked us for you to be banned", and replied with "Whatever it's just a game"

If you ask us to ban you, we will. You are correct, this is just a game. But even so, people choose to dedicate their time here, and we do our best to make the game fun for everyone.
Next time, don't be afraid to fess up for things that you did wrong, we appreciate honesty greatly.
