A classmate of mine comminted suicide once. I did not see it coming, though I hardly knew him in the first place.

A kid a few grades under me got hit by a car 2 years ago. Didn't really know him so don't know what to feel.

When I was in about 2nd grade during the announcments at the end of the day while I was in the hallway they said someone died in a car crash so we all had a moment of silence, and then I look to my left and this guy in my grade is giggling his ass off.

First death in the new school, a Grade 9 student's heart suddenly stopped while he was in Gym class. Paramedics and everything.

It was a really tough to hear about, especially because his sister was still freaking out.

It was even worse because they told everyone to stay away from the gym wing of the school, and not everyone knew why.

Then he died 3 weeks into the month in the hospital. this thread got depressing really fast

He was away for a while, then we had a sudden assembly to find out he died while getting a heart transplant.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)In Grade 5 someone got hit by truck (Not a large truck, like those UPS asdf's) that was hauling ass down the main street next to the school while crossing, and, to the best of my knowledge, they managed to get her off to the hospital or something.

It's the most unsettling memory, because when you have a bunch of kids going "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG CROWD LOL LOL LOL OMG GUIS I SAW THAT YOU KNO!" it hits you hard when you see blood, not just on the paramedics' gloves or the stretcher, but the pavement.

Fucks your shit up, certainly messed up my day.

Still remember the loud screech from the tires while recess was going on.

Three days later they decided to tell us she died after the accident on the same day.
The girl was in Grade 3.

Sort of.

Girl I graduated with and 2 friends (one which I knew fairly well) rolled a car off the highway. The 2 friends lived. The girl was not wearing a seatbelt, and died being thrown from the car. Happened as they were leaving the campus in Reno, heading back home (Las Vegas). They had a big ceremony at my high school.
