DayZ Resurrection

Basically I've REALLY want to play DayZ but it's shit unless you play with friends you know or else you get back-stabbed.
Who: Who ever wants to join.
What: A simple DayZ party that will play from Life - Death, and if you die you can find us or choose to leave, we will NOT backtrack.
Where: Cherno or Elektro.
When: After we get a decent amount of people

Based on how many people there is, I'm expecting only enough for one group but if more then like 6, We will divide into groups for looting purposes although we will travel together.

I'm actually a faggot who hates the change, and the recent updates made the game suck shit, so I gave up on DayZ.  But WarZ on the other hand is nice.

My opinion is that I have some good hopes for it, but I really hate it to be compared to dayz.

The major difference though is that WarZ is a MMO and DayZ is a sandbox. It'd be like trying to say Garrysmod is the same as Call of Duty just becuase they both have guns and you can shoot people with them.

Eh, I just find it overall more enjoyable over playing DayZ. The game has been in development before DayZ started to become really popular. The global inventory system and server browsing works pretty good for me. Just the optimization kinda sucks though, but they addressed that they'll be solving that in more update patches. But right now the game is in its alpha I think, more of the map is going to be unlocked soon, more weapon updates and vehicles are coming up and such.

Just WarZ is its own game and not being restricted to the ARMA engine like DayZ, got its own UI and everything. Just besides optimization, the only other problems is a rapid increase in bandits and 12 year old kids who threaten to "report your IP to anonymoose and fuck your mom" if you kill them.

I already said I know this. I wasn't trying to discredit WarZ.

You also need to bear in mind though that there's very little info about it, even though it's in a paid alpha. I don't think you can say it's better without playing it yourself.

I'm going to shut the fuck up about it being a rip-off of x because that's a failure of an argument.

Instead, let's talk about it's development timeline. Aka, shoddy as fuck. It's not a from-scratch game started two years ago as people think it is. Most likely, it's a mod of War Inc Battlezone and you can see similar animation and models between them. And this is further proved when the producer of Hammerpoint(WarZ) admitted that it is a subsidiary company of Arktose(War Inc) and that the devs of WarZ are actually guys of Arktose who were reassigned for the purposes of creating it.

However, I'm not judging them on selling a mod because, that's essentially what L4D is, but the sketchy part is that there's strong evidence pointing to them lying about it.

I got it working.
Spawned on the coast...but had ALL MY GEAR


So I had a nice walk through Eastern Cherno with a Mk 48 Mod 0, Glock, NVGs, GPS, and a coyote full of food, ammo, and drank.

things were going extremely well. Found a broken car, started to repair it, found an Alice pack. Multiple things.
