so i just finished episode 3 of season one in dexter, and so far its fucking amazing. I just wanted to know like what your guysessese favorite seasons are, and if there is a season not worth watching.

Skip season 5.

It's completely pointless, and it's almost like it never happened. No major plot points come up, and it's events are pretty much never talked about ever again.

I'm serious, season 5 is complete and utter shit.

The series progressively gets worse after season 2. S2 is the highlight. S3 is about same quality as S1. S4 isn't as good, but it's watchable.

S6 is... well, pretty boring for the most part, but it has a lot of character development and focus on Deb. Maybe you can just read or watch a synopsis of Season 6. It was pretty drawn out.

Season 7 (the current one) has been GREAT so far. I'm loving it and anticipating each episode as it airs. So far, it's better than S1 but not as good as S2. Pretty close though. It depends on what they decide to do with it.

Doakes becomes a cyborg, Laguerta is dead, and Dexters "dark passenger" is actually some demigod or something.
