Honestly he should get testers of 100 or more so that they could find errors and he could fix it before his next patch comes out. Would make smoother transitions and updates.

I think I was thinking that it would be different if they apply the patch to gmod rather than being a separate game.

I also mean generally. Whenever there's a patch, it should be tested first.
