no sound

I get no sound in garry's mod, at all. Not even at the menu screen.

When someone in a server uses their mic, and then stops talking, their mic icon stays on the screen until I quit the game.

Please help.

Gmod is the only game that does this for me.

I got this problem, when i didnt have sound card.

The mic stays on,if you dont have a sound card.

Seems like Garry's Mod dosent reconize the sound drive, Garry's mod's fault.

It did this to me like two updates ago but the most recent update fixed it...
