How to fix Gmods crashing!

I was looking around because i was tired of crashing every two minutes and i  found these commands that work.

Go to your Garrysmod/garrysmod folder

Then the cfg folder

Create a text file and name it "autoexec.cfg"
When creating this you must make sure your save settings are set to "all files"

Paste this into it


host_thread_mode 0
r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 0
r_threaded_particles 0
r_threaded_renderables 0
r_queued_decals 0
r_queued_post_processing 0
r_queued_ropes 0
cl_threaded_bone_setup 0
mat_queue_mode 0
r_decals 0

IF you need help with this just download this

and paste it in the cfg folder

I dont know if it will work for you, but it did for me. THIS DOES NOT FIX THE SOUND PROBLEM.

Good find, tech said something about fixing ingame sound but unfortunately I didn't save it... like I thought I did lol.

Anyway Garry said he uploaded a patch however valve won't push it until regular week starts (probably Monday).

Garry's update went through, I tested and it seems good now :3
