Well guys i recently got Half Life Source as a present and i was really pumped to play it again, but then this happend - hl2.exe has stopped working.
Now the thing is i did everything steam said, validate steam files, run game as admin, run in service pack 2 mod, and i even reinstalled it, but still i get the error, i even checked if its a driver issue, i got the latest version for the ATI driver's. If anyone has any idea whats wrong please answer me as soon as possible, steam support is useless.

Reinstall Windows?
Downgrade your drivers? (Believe it or not, this fixed a few problems of mine.)
This next one might seem like a stupid idea and I don't really recommend you doing this, but reset your graphics card while the machine is running, it will cause a BSoD.

Sounds like someone has some data corruption.

Either that or you have some out-dated bios/drivers.
I'd honestly suggest reformatting your hard drive and just re-downloading everything minus the porn.
Thanks Marie
Thanks Crypto!
