Off topic related to 9/11:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)An event that revolutionized the worlds outlook on internal security and the potential for terrorist attacks, how to stop them, etc. Paving the way for many of the worlds super powers large increase in pro-active and reactive measures. Not to mention it was the largest terrorist attack in the history of the world in terms of death toll and I believe there was 30 or so canadians that contributed to that toll. Also Canada participated, though as a secondary support role, in the "war on terrorism" providing air support, basing, and intel. Regardless of what other ulterior motives you believe fueled the war, the official reasoning was a war on terrorism as a result of 9/11. So feel free not to hang your head in silence for our, or your country men and women, but don't deny the importance of this event and the impact to the global population as a whole and its importance to a student body.

I don't think you understand how 9/11 fucked over everyone's rights just to satisfy the paranoid citizens who think a terrorist attack is on every corner.
Oh, and also how Bush went hay-wire with military spending as a result of going to war on terror from 9/11.

Just because I didn't acknowledge the negatives doesn't mean I don't understand them, I completely agree as a result of 9/11 many things were made a lot more difficult for a lot of people and the rights of the average joe was restricted to an extreme.

Yeah, but when you stated "An event that revolutionized the worlds outlook on internal security and the potential for terrorist attacks, how to stop them, etc.", it seemed like you implied it was for the greater good of the world to implement all of those safety measures...and even the horrifying TSA policies.
Tiger Guy:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)So a kid from the other street (that is a Muslim and from the middle east) comes and throws eggs at the rich person's (highly arrogant and super Christian, tries to force ideals on people that don't have the same opinions as him) house in protest of the guy acting like he rules everything. The damage of this event is a couple hundred dollars. The rich guy reacts by hiring people to monitor that street the kid lives on for ten years in the name of 'neighborhood security'. He also lets the people instigates people that have the same skin tone, religion, or even dress like him, for the fact that he might have eggs on him and has a good throwing arm.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Justice.While those events were terrible, the amount of innocent Iraqi citizens that were killed in the name of 'American Justice' dwarfs the amount of people killed on 9/11. Is it really worth about half a million innocent civilians to invade and occupy a country for a whole decade? Not to mention because of this war, the US is deeply in debt. Not to mention the big brother-esque Patriot Act. All in the name of freedom and justice.
Honestly, would you rather have 3,000 American deaths, or 100,000-500,000 Iraqi (Civilian) deaths?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)9/11 really grinds my gears if you can see.Spoiler (click to show/hide)It has introduced a new retarded sense of nationalism.Spoiler (click to show/hide)Not every fucking terrorist is from the middle eastSpoiler (click to show/hide)or a muslimSpoiler (click to show/hide)GUESS WHAT, A CHRISTIAN CAN BE A TERRORIST TOOSpoiler (click to show/hide)AND A WHITE MANSpoiler (click to show/hide)Spoiler (click to show/hide)Save yourself
HideoKojima:
>be a americlap
>someone claps with a frown on
>the clap gets bigger as everyone starts to clap
>everyone claps faster and begins to cry as they clap
No one mentioned 9/11 once today.
