the m80s are good headphones but they are not good for gaming. they are closed and have a really small soundstage which makes positioning bad. The astros aren't very good either btw.

I'm going to recommend the AKG 240 MKII. It's amazing for the price. It has a huge soundstage which is good for gaming and its also good enough for all types of music. It also comes packed with an extra cable and some velour ear cushions (which are super comfortable).

It has really good build quality and AKG is a very good company. The only issue is it may be a little bit lacking in the bass but that's about it. Besides bass is bad for gaming

I guess I might as well ask here rather than making a new thread. I want to buy a new headset too but I don't want to spend much. I don't like spending much money on these types of things so the absolute most I would pay would be like $30 maybe $40 and I wouldn't enjoy spending that much. So I'm guessing I should probably buy a used set or something.

Yes lol but it's really shitty old and beaten up. And it makes my voice sound weird. I want a higher quality one but not one that's super expensive. And the cost would be the same in Canada lol. The Canadian dollar has pretty much the same value as the American dollar and it would be sold for the same price here basically.

I (and I believe Foofoojack said he also had a pair) have this. Great budget pair, though the bass is a bit lacking.
