What happened?
Long time ago, when the new garrysmod.org rules were being implemented with no more backgrounds and adv. dupes, and when they were heavily enforced. Jim uploaded a nice background map, that wasn't even a still background image. It was an actual bg map for your menu screen. But apparently that set shit off because it was a background, but at the same time, an actual contribution.
Idk if that's the accurate story, but it's something like it.
