Although yes, it is bad, I don't think it was the worst reaction. Not the best, of course, but hey, if someone came running to you with a knife, wouldn't you shoot it too?

I think not long ago there was some news about a female pitbull who attack a man, he was pretty badly injured. I kind of understand the cop for shooting the dog as it could of seriously injured him. This is still sad though.

Also, I don't think cops are allowed to taser animals. I'm not an expert, but Tasing a human=/=Tasing a dog.
