I don't support the fact that the dog was shot (instead of given a good kick to the face or tazed), but I realize I probably would've done the same. A dog will wreck your shit.

Well yeah, probably it would have been more wise to taze it, but it was a pit bull. They can really fuck your shit up when provoked. So imo, the cop could have used better judgment, but you have to do what you have to do.

Pit bulls are actually considered feral here now. Many children have been mauled to death by them over the past year. If this happend in Australia, where people actually know of their danger, I may have given it another shot. They are a massive problem now.
