I asked Virid how to use a password when direct connecting example "Connect (ip) "
and he told me RCON and I assumed it was something for connect because I saw CON and there was a command called RCON so I typed in "RCON (IP) (PASSWORD) and it didn't work so I thought it was the other way so I typed in the password and forgot to put the IP.
6. Reason for appeal
I have no idea I did when I typed RCON.

I can't find it and when I typed orange I thought I found it but it was someone else. I can't find it because I have cracked steam maybe.

I wasn't exactly sure of what he wanted  to know. I thought it was direct connect to console as if he wanted to change something on a server of his or a friends. Please forgive my misunderstanding.

We found out that its only a 1 hour ban its fine now

It should also be added that starting a command in console with "rcon " will try to access the "remote console". It will auto-ban the client after it tries to access it a given number of times.

And to answer the OP's question, if you want to connect to a locked server through console, type "password <passwordhere>" then "connect <ipaddresshere>".
