--- Quote from: Jhon on August 02, 2012, 03:58:16 PM ---I hope by the time we'll have immortality we'll be able to easily travel to space and live there if we wish. That will solve any "overpopulation" problem, plus you'll never be bored cause you'll be able to explore the whole universe for centuries and observe it while it changes.
I'll enjoy being immortal and use up the time to do as much as I possibly can. So what if I'll have to see mortal things I've grown attached to die, it happens anyway while you're mortal, you just get over it. Maybe that's bad, but I'll feel somewhat good knowing I outlasted all of the ones who died.

I am cold and heartless but damn, that's a little bit too much.

WIll this come with a lazer gun feature ? If so I'm okay with this.

You all are forgetting several things:

1. You will never afford this.
2. You might have other robot friends.
3. This. Ain't. Ever. Gonna. Happen. You mark my words.

Anyways, I wonder what advances in technology his research will bring us.

Uh, the article right there is saying it already is.

I would do this if we were able to move and act as if we were still in our human body. I mean, sure it sounds cool to live forever and be able to learn and see all of these things, but what use is it in the end?
