Google to begin providing 1000mb internet and cable service

I don't think that this 1 Gb google internet is going to take complete control over the internet service provider market. There will be competition, sure it may take months before other companies catch up, but I don't think google will end up being the lord and master of the internet.

But they already are the lord and master of the internet.

The first to offer speeds like that for a price lower than that of my 15/1 get that tittle.

$70/Mo for Gigabyte internet
$120 for TV + Internet

I don't think that will be possible for a while. Looks like you got confused between Byte and bit. A bit is a tenth of the size of a Byte, meaning that the speeds are around 100 MB/sec rather than 1000 MB/sec.

Rocket50:
A lot of people dont understand the difference between GB and Gb so, before someone derps up

GB = Gigabyte = 1024 Megabytes
Gb = Gigabit = 1024 Megabits

A bit is 1/8 of a byte.

What google fiber is promising is not 1024 MB, but an eighth of that; 128MB and that makes sense since they claim that their service is a hundred times faster than todays internet, and I highly doubt anyone here has a 10 megabyte/s connection.
