Throat Mics

Seems a bit expensive for what it is. You cant really have so much background noise that a good quality mic cant cancel most of it out, can you?

Yeah, I was going to say something like this.

I think getting a 50$ stand-up mic with a homemade pop filter is going to last you longer, and sound better in the long run.

No. You simply put it around your neck and it recieves the vibrations from your vocal chords.
