I have a firefox and chrome addon where it adds a download video button under each youtube video where you can download different qualities of .mp3's and .flv's. No matter what copyrighted channel it's on.

And if worst comes to worst, that doesn't stop people from recording videos with fraps/stereo into Audacity.

Okay, I'm just going to put this out there for people who think youtube can just magically block webites.

1. Download the FlashGot extension for firefox.
2. Go to a youtube video, set it to the highest resolution. Let the entire video buffer.
3. Click the flashgot button, and download the mp4 file.
4. USE THE DVDVIDEOSOFT STUDIO TO RIP THE AUDIO FROM THE MP4.
5. YOUTUBE CAN'T BLOCK YOU FROM DOING THIS BECAUSE

I use keepvid - you can download MP4 videos, or mp3 audio - but for quality, I just download the MP4 in the highest quality I can and then rip the audio in Audacity - more steps than necessary, but meh.
