Going to Malawi Tomorrow!

So yeah, tomorrow I leave for a Habitat for Humanity trip to Malawi (which is in Africa, just in case you didn't know). This will be the first time I've ever been to a continent other than Asia or North America. We're going to a school called Jacaranda, which is a school for orphans, opened by Marie da Silva. Jacaranda school has previously been featured on CNN. We're gonna be building houses and teaching kids at the school. I'm fucking excited.

:)

Woah.

Wait, does this mean you're probably going to learn how to speak Afrikaans?

Yeah, I've taken Malaria Pills already. We're staying for 2 weeks, in Lilongwe and Blantyre. The flight is like 24 hours in total. From Shanghai to Hong Kong, then Hong Kong to Johannesburg, then Johannesburg to Blantyre.

Sounds like fun. The continuous stops could be a drag.

I've been to the one of the Joburg airport terminals. It's really beautiful, you should take some pictures while you are there.

Also, I've been to a place like Malawi and I recommend that you get a fannypack (or those small bags you could clip around your waist.) It's awfully dangerous in places like that, especially if you are not black.

Will Reed's will will read "Will Reed will read Will Reed's will"

The people in Malawi were beyond friendly :o

I had a fucking great time. It was awesome. Kinda makes we wanna move there lol... If it wasn't so dirty... And if it had high-speed internet.

I took 209 photos. Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook can view them now :)
