setup:
-GeForce GTX 570
-8gb ripjaw
-i5
-1tb 7200 RPM SATA
-corsair enthusiast series 750w psu

My original plan was:
ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD
with this
AMD Phenom II X4 960T

but I changed my mind obviously.

My budget is not that tight, but I still draw the line somewhere.
I was THINKING about this but I'm really not sure

The Maximus V is one of the best for the 1155 pin processors. I myself have an ASUS P8Z68-V-PRO. Anything in the higher end of the P8Z77 series will do just fine. What about the Graphics card? A 560 Ti will give you the best value for money. It's almost the same as the 570. Just an extra 2 frames in BF3. Save 50 or so on the card and go for that board you picked, or something of the same price range. Supertoaster would know more on Motherboards than I do.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was gonna go with 560ti but I figured why not since I can afford it.

Right now the whole thing costs about 1400 bucks with a case and 2 monitors as well as mouse and shipping included.

Edit: I was also thinking about getting a ssd not big at all. I was just gonna put my os on it. And also, I don't have an OS. :(

:( any recommendations where I can obtain one without paying 500 for windows ultimate 64cock

Just "pingaz" one. An OS can be obtained very easily. Don't waste your money on an OS. Please, just don't.

*Hint* <Get an Ultimate 64 bit ISO then get RemoveWAT>
Problem solved?
