Need help for ZS 2.01

Ok so me and Kurtis<3Kyle have a server thats running a nearly 100% working Zombie Survival V2.01(yes, the good version of it!)

There are some problems. Minor, but make it annoying.


1. The weapons are all held like pistols. I checked the weapon_zs_base, I change the holding type from Pistol to SMG(Because its a decent substitute then holding a shotgun with a pistol or an SMG etc...) but pistols are held like SMG's... I changed to back and its the same thing. All like a pistol. I can just remake those but I want to know if there is a way to fix this.


2. Zombies do not have an Attacking animation.


3. The map will not change. When the game ends, The server changed level... TO THE SAME MAP!  :'(


4. Fall damage is WAAAAY Too... well don't go down stairs. you pop. I just need to know where I can find the Fall damage in the gamemode.


5. Fast zombies and headcrabs Pouncing attack only hits IF the targeting playing is dead on the crosshair.




If anyone can give me some help on this, I would be thankfull. I think I can fix the pouncing issue by just widening the cone or radius of it.
The main thing that's ridiculously in need of tweaking is the fall damage. I'm not even exaggerating! if you fall 3 feet... you EXPLODE and go  :fire:!!!!!!






Oh, and if your gonna post saying that I'm lying to you that there is no other V2.01 Zombie Survival....  :gtfo: I can show you the server itself.

Exactly what I was saying to a few other peeps.. this is a little bit of work man.. took us awhile as these bugs came etc etc.

At any rate good luck, it would be a good learning experience to debug etc.

I wont lie, Kurtis did quite alot of it. I'm in charge of the weapons but I want to fix mainly the collision thing so he can have a break :/

Honestly, I doubt you'll get much help here, and this is why.

First off, the hold types are an extremely easy fix. The fact that you're unable to even fix that means you're going to have a LOT of trouble with the more complex issues (like animations).

Second, you're not going to find someone who would want to be your code monkey, consider he'd be working under two people who have extremely limited knowledge of the very thing they're trying to operate.

Anyways, as Coolz said, good luck. You're going to need it.
