What..? This is not a different situation at all. I was never telling anyone not to +1 him, I was literally stating my simple opinion and not trying to be offensive, yet 5 people -1'd me. The hypocritical part is that this was right after you said the video wasn't funny at all and astro -1'd you - you got mad at him for the same thing I'm getting mad at you for. Do you see my logic here? Anyway, I just wanted to point it out so I'll just drop that point here.

This is what I'm talking about:
1. User gets a lot of +1's for something that people found funny.
2. Another user MUST post saying "why does this have so many +1's" in a very sarcastic and annoying manor, for everyone must know this user does not support another using getting more than a couple +1's per post, unless it's to that user.
3. Now a or multiple users must complain about the "bandwagon" effect. OMG he's got a lot of +1's LOL BANDWAGON LOL +1 FOR BOOBS LOL SUCKUP.

I'm not saying that everyone that +1'd him is just doing it because of bandwagon'ing or being a suck-up, or anything for that matter. All I meant was that I just don't see how "Purple, you are fucked by Supertoaster" was such a hilarious statement that made spaghetti fall out of everyone's pockets. I know as a fact I'm not the only one who feels this way, but I'm just the one stupid enough to post it and incite your wrath. Really though, I don't care whether you guys +1 him or not, all I mean by my "very sarcastic and annoying" post is that I don't personally think it's funny. I'm not telling all of you not to or anything, so that's pretty much a moot point.

I'm saying it's stupid that everyone keeps complaining about those things... People don't just go around "oh lol look a lot of people have +1'd this post I need to do that too so I can fit in!"
People just found it funny, whether you did or not. Who cares?

Again, I actually don't care if you guys find it funny, just like you guys shouldn't care that I think it is not funny. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I do hope you see what I'm getting at ._.

You can't "prove" how funny something is, as there's no way to measure it. Opinions in this case are all you can state.

You were using your opinion as a fact. You were debating based on opinions. You stated that everyone had only voted not because they found it funny, but because it was Yomo and because of a bandwagon effect.

But then you say it's an opinion.

But you didn't say it as an opinion.

It's not even an opinion.

An opinion is saying something is/isn't funny TO YOU. Otherwise it's just baseless statements.

In my opinion, you should +1 stuff that's very helpful or funny, not to hop the bandwagon (it does happen) or to suck up to them (it's not going to work). It kinda defeats the purpose of having a karma system if you only +1 for certain people. I see where you both are coming from. You just got to remember that some people have a less complex sense of humor to yours. You also got to understand that there's been cases where people have got +4 or more for one word/sentence comments, which in all cases would've not been voted on if it was about any other person.

Yomo's post does have a case of favoritism though. If I would've posted that, I doubt I would've gotten more than a +3-4. The reason that is because Yomo's Yomo; The funny Japanese guy with slightly butchered English. Most of you don't know Excalipoor (unless you play TTT frequently.) We tend to be less lenient on +1ing and more on -1ing on people that remind us of good times, and vice versa if it's the person that reminds us of bad times or we don't know. If you lurk moar, there's more cases of this, but not having +28/whatever it is now. Most cases are just +1 for random comments. If you look into it, at least 90% of these cases are with admins or the female gender. I'm not saying that they don't deserve to be +1ed, I'm saying that they should have the same process of +1ing/-1ing as other users. Karma socialism, if I may call it that.

Just +1/-1 people for the content they posted, not for who they are and what you think of them.
