Does anyone know how to soft mod an original xbox?

The truth has been spoken. I could never get a smooth running PS2 game. Usually with PCSX2, you have to pingaz a bunch of files and plugins just to get it to work. After that, it usually crashes if you try to run from your dvd drive, making you have to burn a 6gb ISO file to your PC to run it there, to even then have the game to run shitty.

I've tried it with Grand Turismo 4, Hitman 2, GTA:SA, Sly Cooper 2, and Ratchet and Clank. Yet the gamecube emulators run pretty smooth.

I've played Silent Hill 1 on it and it ran perfectly.
