So I bought proudly a tablet but he's not using it for like 3 weeks now so I'm fucking jacking this shit back.
Anyway those who have tablets and use photoshop.. can you give me advice on how to fucking color?
This be my first time picking a tablet up and drawing with it since I'm a pencil/pen and paper kind of person to draw things and plus it's been about.. oh Idk, since I was 16 last time I drew because of shit I deal with... so here's a sample of what i've done. Sorry it's not great.

Try drawing what is outside of your home for colour testing?

This was done with a computer mouse last year using brush tool and it was difficult for me to put detail into the water and the foreground. I'd really like to see what you can come up with using a tablet.

A tablet just works like a mouse, except obviously controlled differently. You use any program that you want, so if you can do it with a mouse on a program, you can do it with a tablet.

wellp, I tried to color and clearly failed.
This imo looks like a 10 year olds coloring.
and yeah it's not done I kind of just slightly gave up on it lol.

To actually color you should use the filling/gradient tool or the brush.
The brush should be set to, Hardness: 0%
                                             Opacity: 10% - 20%
                                             Flow: 100%

Now, to create shading you simply lower the size and color the same place, if you want it to be a bit darker just change the color it self to dark, oh and don't forget to change the brush to multiply.

Also, you'll have to use a lot of layers, like if you want to color something, you can simply choose it with the pen tool right click on what you chose then press on "Make Selection" and every time you color it won't go out side, you'll color only what you selected, now if you want to shade what's inside the selection you'll have to change the opacity.

I'm not good with photoshop(I tried it a few times but It's confusing as shit), but if you used/tried out Paint Sai, then I could give you some good tips that I know.

Oh yeah I remember you said awhile back that you wanted one. Nice. I like my tablet and all and Photoshop, but I sort of prefer drawing on paper. I usually just draw on paper and then sometimes redo it with my tablet. but not lately since my MAC decided it would be super cool to take a huge shit on my head.

Either way, my art class did this whole thing on Photoshop, and I know a bit myself (since I own it and use it) so I may be of some use.
