Sound in Gmod suddenly stops

For the past few days, I've been having this problem with the sound in Gmod. It'll go fine for a few minutes, and then suddenly all sound stops. UI, voicechat, gunshots, everything. This is fixed when I restart the game, but one time I hung on for a bit more and the sound reappeared ten minutes later. I've googled the problem to no avail, and I've verified the integrity of the game cache.

wtf is going on and how do i fix it??///????/?

That usually happens to me maybe an overload on sound too much memory to handle i usually restart it then it works check if your Sound card is newly updated look on Garry's page to see if theres any solution to this as of now i only got a fix to the couldn't retrieve Audio inline and the shaded polygon error fix message if you get anything.

If your using Realtech Audio, try re-downloading the drivers. It stopped my sound from lagging.

Either update your sound drivers, or buy a new one. That should help - but If it doesn't, let me know.
